Profile – Lenka Hrušková

She is a graduate of the Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (Fields German, Russian, Arts). PhDr. degree in the field of Pedagogy was acquired at the Faculty of Philosophy, Comenius University in Bratislava. PhD. degree in the field of Pedagogy was acquired at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno in 2008. She finished her habilitation in 2015 in the field of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education, Palacký University in Olomouc.

She has been acting as a professional assistant at VŠTE in České Budějovice since 2007. She directed the department of foreign languages in 2008-2009. She worked at VŠTE in České Budějovice as a vice-rector for study and educational activities since 2009 until 2016. At the moment, she acts as the head of the Department of Field Didactics at VŠTE in České Budějovice.

Her publications fall into the field of pedagogy, didactic and lingvistic didactic. She focuses on teacher’s personality, his educational strategies, methods and techniques, on the identity of a student and a pupil, on his process of teaching within the educational process. From the long-term perspective, she is interested in cooperative teching strategies, not only from the perspective of a techer, but also from a student’s or a pupil’s point of view.
