He began his sporting career as a lawyer of the special purpose facility CUS Pragosport, which he left as a deputy director for diplomacy after 8 years.

He acted as a general secretary of the Czech Olympic Committee between 2004 and 2012. In this position, he attended WOG in Turin and Vencouver and Olympic Games in Bejing and London. Firsty Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010 and two years later, WYOG in Innsbruck. He also was a member of the olympic expedition at the European Olympic Festivals of Youth and in 2007 in Spanish Jaca and in Serbian Belegrad, in 2009 in Polish Slask Beskydy and in Finnish Tampere, and in 2011 in Liberec (member of the Olympic Committee) and Turkish Trabzone.

He was a member of the EOC Committee for cooperation with EU for four years. He gave external lectures at the Charles Univ, Fac Phys Edu & Sport – Sport Management. He worked as a deputy of the general secretary of the world championship IIHF in ice hockey in Prague and Ostrava with responsibility for matches played in the O2 Arena in Prague between 2012 and 2015.

He worked in the Sunny Canadian International School as a sport academy and spare-time activities manager. After that, he worked as a minister’s counselor at the ministry of education, youth and sport, where he at first acted as a head of department of inspections, then as a head of the department of sport concepts.

At the moment, he works as a deputee of the general secretary of the Club of Czech Tourists. He is an active tennis player and a 2nd class trainer.
